Gaillac the center of south west of France known for 2000 years of wine making experience dating back further than Bordeaux. 300 varietals are grown in south west France and 120 indigenous. Explore the red Tannant grape from Gascony region & the white varietal Petite Manseng, Malbec from Cahors unlike Argentina's Malbec, Cahors is Malbec’s birthplace. Bordeaux & a few more known areas are included in this southwest area of France. This should be an interesting tasting and hopefully introduce you to some new wines unfamiliar to your palate.
