About the event
Grenache is a hearty, vigorous grape grown in many countries and regions around the world. In France grenache is widely planted in Southern Rhone, Languedoc-Roussillon & Provence. Garnacha in Spain is the second only to Tempranillo the most widely planted grape in the north & east. Grenache loves the arid climate of South Australia & California being resistant to wind & drought with alcohol levels reaching at times 15% . (love that don't ya!) It is also called Cannanou to Sardinia, Sicily & Calabria.
Join us Saturday and taste the different regions across the globe growing and making wine from Grenache. You will love the rich spicy character of this grape varietal.
